Oratex Fabric

There's often a discussion among builders regarding which fabric system to use. I used Polyfiber fabric, combined with Stewart Systems adhesive, filler, primer, and paint. Generally, I'm happy with the result. However if I was to build again, I would give strong consideration to using Oratex fabric.

The initial outlay with Oratex is higher. However it doesn't require painting, or the hours of preparation and cost of painting materials either.

Another consideration is repairs. With Oratex, the repairs are very simple - you cut a patch and glue it in place. With Polyfiber, the same laborious preparation and painting work is required once a patch has been glued.
